Unfortunately, it's not the distant future. Our baby boy turns two on Thursday! So we celebrated with family today. Thankfully, both kids got some rest in the morning so they were in proper form to handle the BBQ, presents and cake excesses.
The highlight was probably when Michael picked up his 'smash' cake after failing with a fork. How else would you eat a banana, anyway?

Ella got a set of jewelry pop beads today. I might be stealing them while she sleeps tonight - they're cool.
