Cathedral di Santa Maria Assunta
DAY EIGHT, Thursday || Ravello
On the Road to Ravello
Duomo di Ravello
Sights from our long walk to Villa Cimbrone (which we didn't have time for once we got there) and an even longer walk to Mamma Agata's house.
Mamma Agata's Cooking Class
Mamma Agata, on the right; daughter Chiara on the left.
DAY NINE, Friday || Isle of Capri
On the Boat to Capri
Natural Arch
Faraglioni
Green Grotto
Queuing to go into the Blue Grotto -- getting in and out of the little dinghy was a fun little adventure.
Capri's Marina Grande
Funicolare to Capri's Main Piazza
These Saracen towers dot along the entire coast, once used to send smoke signals between them, warning of invaders and other threats. Today, many are private homes and hotels.
Look closely and you'll see the red coral that this coast is famous for harvesting and making into jewelry and other pretty things.
DAY TEN, Saturday || Heading Home
Naples Airport
Mount Vesuvius
Time to start planning the next adventure. Barcelona and Provence in 2018, maybe? Who's in?
